Educating the Whole Child in Catholic Education - Paperback

"Educating the Whole Child in Catholic Education" is my humble contribution to encourage and empower educators to aid in forming a worldview with an integrated approach. This task requires students to be engaged, motivated, supported, and challenged in an environment that responds to the needs of the whole person. This book shows teachers my personal journey in different disciplines, including Religion, Science, STEM, and Spanish with lessons, projects, and methods that are practical, attainable, and oriented to put faith at the center in order to lead souls to Heaven. The book includes nine main ideas that are organized by chapters:

This approach emphasizes reaching eternity as the cornerstone of Catholic education, as we help students:

• Understand that 'freedom' implies the pursuit of what is right, what is real, and what is lovely
• Develop a firm and habitual disposition towards the good
• Acknowledge that God has gifted each person with inherent worth and dignity
• Recognize that the language of our body, as a God-given gift, must speak the truth
• Engage in a shared life within society working towards the common good
