Saúl Martínez-Horta (Barcelona, 1981) Doctor en Medicina y especialista en Neuropsicología clínica, trabaja en el Servicio de Neurología del puntero Hospital Sant Pau de Barcelona donde se dedica a la investigación de la enfermedad de Huntington y otros trastornos del movimiento. Además dirige el departamento de Neuropsicología de CDINC. Cuenta con una extensa experiencia en la práctica clínica y en la investigación en enfermedades neurodegenerativas, en el daño cerebral y en los trastornos del neurodesarrollo.
Su perfil científico se completa con una interesante labor como divulgador a través de su cuenta en X / antes Twitter (@smartinezho1), donde explica conceptos neurológicos de una manera increíblemente amena y humana.
Saúl Martínez-Horta (Barcelona, 1981) is a Doctor of Medicine and a specialist in clinical Neuropsychology. He works in the Neurology Department of the leading Sant Pau Hospital in Barcelona, where he is dedicated to researching Huntington's disease and other movement disorders. Additionally, he heads the Neuropsychology department at CDINC. He has extensive experience in clinical practice and research in neurodegenerative diseases, brain injury, and neurodevelopmental disorders.
His scientific profile is complemented by his interesting work as a science communicator through his account on X / formerly Twitter (@smartinezho1), where he explains neurological concepts in an incredibly engaging and human way.
