Clark, Leslie: - Leslie Clark was born in Fairmont, West Virginia and lived there with her mother and grandparents for the first four years of her life. She and her mother moved to St. Louis, and Boston, before settling in Cincinnati, Ohio. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a BA in Speech & Communications, and has worked in print and communications for over 30 years, specializing in the production of marketing materials, print communication and consumer packaging. In 2004, she received an MFA in Creative Writing from the Writing Seminars program at Bennington College, Vermont. She participates in Women Writing for (a) Change and enjoys being a part of the creative writing community in and around the Cincinnati area. Her poems have been published in Pine Mountain Sand & Gravel, The Bennington Review, Art Spike and Four Corners. She is also a photographer and a musician. This is her first collection.
