A surreal dream experience with trauma & CPTSD at the forefront.
"DreamRot {FORSAKEN} is a foray into a lucid fever dream of incredibly evocative imagery and words that Ami Sanghvi is known for. Featuring varied forms of media including photography, illustration, and print, Sanghvi's artwork is gritty and hits hard. They do not shy away from the scary nightmares we can encounter in the world when we've been through, or are living with trauma. Because after all, as the artist tells us, 'safety is a myth we tell small children.'
This visual collection is weird and wonderful and will draw you in.
'In dystopia, we find beauty and sincerity wherever we can, whenever we can.'
DreamRot {FORSAKEN} is one of those beauties and will leave a lasting impression."
- Katy Somerville, Art Director & Co-Editor of Cream Scene Carnival
