Dawson, Bob: - Since qualifying as a nurse in the1970's the author has over 40 years experience of working in Health and Social care environments, specialising in working with people with learning disabilities and/or mental health conditions. He has been involved in research work and training staff, students and family members in the field of Down Syndrome and Dementia for over 33 years with the last 20 years as a freelance training consultant. He has also worked with some of the most respected leaders in this area including, Emeritus Professor Tony Holland and Diana Kerr.
