Souvenirs

Concerts with internationally established artists and master classes for highly motivated young talent have been a wonderful annual reality in Starnberg since 2000 and in Seefeld/ Tirol since 2009, initiated by Albanian-born violinist Rudens Turku, who continues to direct them in serious yet most congenial fashion. "Souvenirs" was created in public gratitude and as a kind of homage to these artistic gatherings. The instrumentalists, some of the finest of their generation on their respective instruments, are heard with Mr. Turku in works of Doppler, Paganini, Mendelssohn and Shostakovich.
