Don't Be Dying to Be Loved - Paperback

Don't Be Dying to Be Loved is a powerful and deeply personal memoir that chronicles one woman's journey through childhood trauma, abuse, poverty, family dysfunction, and spiritual awakening, while revealing the unshakable love of God that carried her through it all.

From a young age, Alicia Norman experienced circumstances no child should ever endure. Raised in an environment marked by instability, neglect, mental illness, and abuse, she spent years searching for safety, acceptance, and love in a world that often seemed determined to deny her all three. Yet even in the darkest moments, God was quietly at work, planting seeds of hope and reminding her that she was never truly alone.

Beginning with a life-changing encounter with Jesus as a little girl, Alicia shares the painful realities of her upbringing with remarkable honesty and vulnerability. Through stories of survival, heartbreak, resilience, and faith, she reveals how childhood wounds shaped her identity and how God's grace ultimately led her toward healing, restoration, and purpose.
