The purpose of this book is to minimize the youth and young adults of today from being labelled as "waste yutes" (a youthful person who has failed to use their time wisely) through financial literacy. Being financially literate simply means that you're competent when it comes to money and beginner level financial planning. Our goal is to give the youth and young adults in marginalized communities an equal opportunity to attain upward mobility. Brown and Dean M. Chambers.
