The result is elegant and sophisticated, but with a healthy dose of streetwise attitude. This record has a classic vibe, hearkening back to the heyday of acid jazz and jazzy drum + bass, but it's distinguished by the masterful playing of living jazz legends who provide a level of depth. Wally seamlessly blends Guillermo E. Brown's sophisticated sense of groove, the saxes of Daniel Carter and David S.
