Blum, Fleur: - Fleur Blüm is a Melbourne-based writer, performer and musician. She writes mainly fiction, with romantic elements. She is a strongly feminist, sex-positive writer. Her work sometimes touches on the darker side of life, including abusive relationships. She also regularly uses her humour to break up the darkness. Fleur co-wrote, performed in and produced a Melbourne Fringe Festival show in 2016, Fleur and Alexandra Save the World. She and Alexandra performed their follow-up show, Fleur and Alexandra are Out of This World 2018. She is also half of the punk folk duo Wasted Monday. Fleur's debut novel, Sophie's Path A Choose Your Own Adventure Novel, was published in May, 2018. Her second novel, Discovering the Franklins, was published in February 2019. Fleur is passionate, opinionated and believes in advocating for the change you want to see in the world. Her work reflects the world she sees, but also the world she wants to create.
