Malcolm Smith once said, "Without motorcycles, people live very boring lives." Author Keith Geisner lives by these words and invites readers to join him as he uncovers an incredible true story behind one of off-road racing's most grueling competitions - The International Six Days Trial (ISDT) - and two childhood friends from Esther, Missouri, who represented the U.S. team in the 1970s.
Join Keith as he interviews ISDT riders Jim Simmons and Stan Rubottom, along with their friends and fellow riders Lars Larsson, Fred Cameron, Gary Surdyke, Ray Mungenast, Chris Carter and Kevin Hagerty and reveals never-before-told stories in ISDT history - including a race bike that was never meant to be.
If you're into motorcycle racing history and preservation of the sport, you will not want to pass this story up.
