Wild Bird

The debut CD Wild Bird by the Duo 47/4, Music for Violin and Harp, presents a series of picturesque, contrasting 20th and 21st c works, by turns meditative, imaginative, colorful and loaded with energy. Violinist Viktoria Kaunzner and the harpist Anna Viechtl became acquainted during their period of study at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin. As stipend holders of "Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now" they performed concerts together whilst still students, founding the "Duo 47 / 4". The 47 harp strings and the four violin strings give the Duo it's name.
