Aristophanes once theorized that all people, in the beginning, were quite different than those who exist today. In his mind, we were each physically connected to what we would now refer to as our "soul mate" or "twin flame." They were, in every way, the other half of ourselves. For twelve individuals its a curse. A real and torturous existence. Once six massive beings, their power and threat to Zeus became too great. In his fear, he split each being in two, sending them to opposite ends of the universe. Condemning them to exist in human form, lifetime after lifetime, in an endless yearning and search for one another. Sensing the time was right, someone who terrified Zeus arrives, giving him no choice but to leave the fate of the world in the hands of those he cursed, the Dimidium.
