Ricard Zapata-Barrero is Professor of Political Science at the University Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, Spain. Director of GRITIM-UPF (Interdisciplinary Research Group on Immigration). His main lines of research deal with contemporary issues of liberal democracy in contexts of diversity, especially the relationship between democracy, citizenship, and migration.

Shahamak Rezaei is Associate Professor at Roskilde University, Denmark. He is the winner of "Danske Bank" 2014 award in "Social Innovation & Social Entrepreneurship". His research focuses on Transnational-Knowledge-Transfer, Migration, Transnational Entrepreneurship and Diaspora Entrepreneurship. During 2015-2019 he was Research Coordinator for the research project "DiasporaLink", financed by EU-REA- 'Horizon 2020-RISE Program'.
