We train people in many areas of life but we seem to forget one critical area, training their heads. You give me a person that thinks he/she will succeed, and they probably will. This is a learned behavior. A person must be taught how to act/react in many different situations. This can be the difference between succeeding and not. People must be taught how to respond to such things as winning, loosing, failing forward, dealing with jealousy, refusing to lose, competitiveness, being coachable/teachable, goal setting, developing passion, perseverance, work ethic, dedication, etc. It is often said that 80% of life is between the ears. We currently focus on training the 20% that is mostly physical. This book is designed to give us the tools we need to begin training the 80%: the mental portion of life. Coupling the physical and the mental aspects of life will assist others in becoming the best they can be. This book is about training people to get the best out of their lives. Most importantly this book is designed to teach success skills that people can use for the rest of their lives and share with others. How will the people you care about learn these skills? By chance? In the back yard? If you don't teach them, who will? People have to be trained how to use these skills or they will never be able to use them. People cannot apply what they do not understand.
