24 Preludes

First prize winner at the 1981 Cleveland International Piano Competition and silver medalist at the 1985 Van Cliburn Competition, French pianist Philippe Bianconi studied at the Nice conservatoire with Simone Delbert-Fevrier and later with Gaby Casadesus in Paris and Vitalij Margulis in Freiburg. Since his Carnegie Hall debut in 1987, Bianconi has performed in major concert halls and festivals around the world. The interpretation of French music has always been of great importance in his repertoire, both in the concert hall and the recording studio.
