English summary: This book focuses on the Midrash Hallel, a rare rabbinical commentary on the Psalms of the Hallel (Ps 113-118) prayer. It takes into account the only existing manuscript of the Midrash (Munich 222) and three printed editions (one A. Jellinek in 1873, the JD Eisenstein in 1915 and the anonymous version of the Traklin presses, published in Warsaw, 1924), to give its first translation. It attempts to clarify its relationship with the rest of the classical rabbinic literature, especially the Midrash Tehillim. Although it is a minor collection, the Midrash Hallel may concern those who seek to better understand the channels through which some traditions (especially mystical ones) transited between ancient times and the Middle Ages.
