About the Author
Jenny Alexander is a UK author of fiction and non-fiction for readers of all ages. Her children's non-fiction includes funny self-help books on topics such as bullying, self-esteem, happiness, stress, green living and effective learning. Her children's fiction, exploring similar themes, includes Blue Peter Book Club choice, How to Get What You Want, by Peony Pinker and Red House Children's Book Awards Highly Commended, Car-Mad Jack. Her Young Adult novel about sibling suicide, Drift, is recommended by the UK's largest grief counselling organization, Cruse Bereavement Care.
Dr. Alice Brown is a chartered child and educational psychologist with over 15 years experience of supporting children's social, emotional, and mental wellbeing. She completed her doctoral training at the University of Exeter, UK, looking at resilience and aspirations of children in care. Her passion is supporting families and is currently developing a private practice working with parents experiencing stress and burnout. Alice lives with her husband and two young children in Northamptonshire. Valentina Jaskina is an illustrator living in Georgia.
