Daby Toure was born into a musical family in Mauritania and ahs matured into an outstanding multi-instrumentalist and songwriter. STEREO SMITH is a glorious fusion of the sounds of Daby's African roots and his years living in Paris. The mid-tempo songs are based around his sweet sounding voice and refreshingly clean acoustic guitar playing, blending traditional balladry and West African grooves with a sprinkling of jazz, funk, and reggae.
