------------------------

This inspiring picture book is a fantastic addition to any classroom or home library. It is perfect for starting conversations to learn more about learning differences at any age.

In the back of the book, there are discussion questions and activity pages. One of the activity pages allows children to draw their feelings about reading.

Abigail initially started writing this story because of the lack of children's books about dyslexia. While she was growing up, she didn't see any representation of dyslexia in a children's book.

As the process of the book continued and the passion got deeper, she and Cecilia decided to create this into a series, understanding that there are so many disabilities that need representation in children's books. That was only the beginning of The Empower Empathy Early Series.
