Rachel Armitage is Reader in Criminology and Deputy Director of the Applied Criminology Centre at the University of Huddersfield, UK. She has worked in the field of community safety and criminology since 1998, including three years as a Senior Consultant for Nacro and one year as a Senior Research Fellow at the Jill Dando Institute of Crime Science, UCL.
