Creative Encounters: A New Approach to Spiritual Growth for the Recovering Community - Paperback

"Creating space to encounter God is a powerful journey toward spiritual transformation."

Has your recovery journey been filled with scripture memorization, devotions, and white-knuckling? The book you hold uses bible characters, images and creativity to connect to God in a unique way for lasting spiritual formation.

Drug and substance abuse is a chronic problem. Statistics reveal a dire need for divine intervention. God-fearing believers who struggle with addictions, life-controlling issues, and unresolved trauma find this resource valuable.

The recovery community, their families, and support leaders utilize this fresh look at spiritual formation. Independently or with a group, it will lead the reader to a deeper connection with God.

Leasa leads the reader alongside biblical figures and their journeys to glean truths for daily living. By using easy to find materials for the creative encounters, she facilitates creative encounters for those who consider themselves artsy and leads the bold non-creatives to trust the process.

Leasa, married to her high school sweetheart, has three grown children and eight grandcuties. She is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God fellowship and holds a Doctorate of Ministry. She is the founder of Restoration Grace, a non-profit based in Oracle, Arizona that promotes spiritual renewal through retreats, workshops and conferences.
