Part of infection doctors' training includes pandemics, but Dr. Arnold found himself not only tending to patients, but with his colleagues, making 3D printed swabs, being the first to perform COVID-19 tests in Louisville and arranging for his university hospital to provide novel treatments. Some people were supporters and others were deterrents in figuring out what to do. The stress caused a few of his colleagues to quit, but what kept him going? It was his faith as a Christian, or rather, God's hand on him.
