About Benjamin Cortez Pastor Benjamin Bio To many he is known as Benji, to others he is known as Pastor, but Benjamin Cortez is a Worshiper. Ever since Benjamin received the call of God in 1986, he's has been Singing a New Song.' A song of praise which has spand a life of Music Ministry. Benjamin started playing the piano on his fathers television program back in 1972. His father Pastor Alfonso Cortez taught him of few chords and got Benjamin started in music at the tender age of seven. WELCOME TO THE MINISTRY His mother a devoted pastor's wife and an incredible singer taught Benjamin how to sing. At age 17 he was hired as a pianist for The Cathedral Faith in San Jose, California later become the choir director. Benjamin has worked with renowned artist's like Ron Kenoly and others. He has traveled in the U.S. and oversees participating in worship events large and small. He now heads up a new ministry known as the WORSHIP NATION. He is planning some dynamic Worship Conferences designed to equip Worship leaders in Northern California. Some of Pastor Benjamin's compositions are scheduled for national release by renound worship leader Clint Brown.
