Ripped from today's headlines...Conspiracy of Fear by E. L. Burton is an action-packed conspiracy thriller that grabs you from page one. Medical Examiner Dr. Henry Stone finds himself at the center of an unfolding conspiracy where powerful individuals have set in motion a design to influence the most sacred of documents, the American Constitution. Stone's well ordered life is turned upside down when an ex-CIA operative delivers a cryptic message regarding a recent school shooting with possible connections to random acts of violence that are sweeping the country. Stone begins to consider that these random shooters are unwittingly manipulated into committing these acts and may well be victims themselves. At the center of this intricate plot is Pierce Thornhill, founder of a Pharmaceutical empire. Haunted by the untimely death of his father, Thornhill is determined to liberate America from its love affair with guns. To that end he has released a failed experimental military drug on an unsuspecting public. Thornhill is determined to create a new American revolution based on a Conspiracy of Fear.
Diagnosed with a rare degenerative eye disease and the prognosis of eventual blindness, E.L. Burton left the confines of corporate America to pursue his dream of becoming an author. Trading in his shirt and tie for a laptop and a pair of shorts he embraced his personal motto, "The only true control we have in life is how we choose to react to any given situation." E.L. Burton is a frequent editorial contributor to print and electronic media outlets and his first novel is entitled $oft Money. He and his wife currently reside in San Antonio, Texas. Conspiracy of Fear is his second novel.
