Religion and science: A volatile mix?
The modern world makes much of a false dichotomy between science and religion. Re-orienting science to its proper origins will shatter this myth. Author Robert Theophilus demonstrates how one can work at the cutting edge of medical research and still experience the sheer joy and profound reasonableness of the Catholic faith. The fruit of true enlightenment from God is harmony between Church and science.
Confessions of a Catholic Scientist relates the journey of one man, but in doing so, the author demonstrates the overwhelming importance of faith in one's life and one's work. Author Theophilus recounts here the truly fascinating story underlying the development of the malaria vaccine and, at the same time, shows the reader a way to live the dictum of St. James: "Faith without works is dead" (Jas. 2:26).
This timely book blazes a clear path for those struggling to reconcile faith and reason.
