This engaging book for three-to-six year olds, part of the exceptionally helpful "Big Conversations with Little Children" series, features a young child who is reassured by his teacher's safety lessons after experiencing a troubling event in his hometown. Addressing a variety of concerns, this book will encourage parent-child discussions about community helpers, safety drills and procedures, and (potential) acts of local violence. Clear, full-color illustrations and easy-to-understand text will help your child feel better about uncomfortable unforeseen events.
