I left my husband-even though I still love him.

 

Now that he's in business with the man that tortured me, I'll never feel safe. I understand Hades didn't have a choice, that it was a sacrifice he had to make for both of us, but I still can't tolerate it. I pack my things and move to Rome-and leave my ring behind.

 

I work at the Tuscan Rose and stay busy, thinking about the little boy in my pregnant belly. I'm alone and lonely, missing the husband I was forced to leave. We were bound together rich or poor, through sickness and health...but what category did fear fall under? I left my husband out of fear for myself and our unborn son.

 

The longer we're apart, the harder it gets. I miss him every morning and every night. My stomach gets better and my due date is fast approaching. I didn't want to marry him the first two times he asked, but now I can't imagine a life with someone else.

 

Did I make the right decision-or lose the love of my life?
