Kurt James known as the 'Colorado Storyteller' over the years has complied a vast knowledge of his native state. In the beginning he used these historical and fun facts to be weaved into his fictional adventure stories of the Rocky Mountain frontier bringing authenticity to his novels. Recently Kurt James fan base has been asking for him to make available his research in book form so they can even learn more about Colorado. This book is the effort of many years of study, investigation, and exploring the Rocky Mountains, ghost towns, and long forgotten cemeteries. Kurt James has also held countless interviews with many of those quoted within these pages. Many of the photographs and artwork used in this book are Kurt James originals.
