Lopez Levers, Lisa: - Lisa Lopez Levers, Ph.D., LPPC-S, LPC, CRC, NCC is the Rev. Francis Philben, C. S. Sp. Endowed Chair in African Studies and Professor of Counselor Education & Supervision in the Department of Counseling, Psychology, and Special Education in the School of Education at Duquesne University. She has had nearly 40 years of clinical mental health counseling experience and has taught numerous clinical graduate courses over the last 25 years, including courses at Duquesne's CACREP-accredited Clinical Mental Health Counseling master's program. She is the editor of the best-selling textbook Trauma Counseling: Theories and Interventions (SPC, 2011) and has published peer-reviewed research in such peer-reviewed publications as the Journal of Mental Health Counseling, Journal of Counseling and Development, Rehabilitation Education... She was currently serving as a member of the Council on Rehabilitation Education (CORE) Board of Directors for a four-year term, 2014-2018.
