The Chronicle of the Grey House (1925)

The aging Lord of the Moors has planned for his favored younger son Harry to take over as Lord when he passes, yet when Sir Harry falls in love with Babbie, the daughter of a lowly serf his father tells him if he dares to marry below his station he will lose his inheritance! His brother Sir Derrick is only too happy to see Harry removed as an obstacle to him inheriting his father's lands and title. Harry however won't give up on either his love or his inheritance and his determination to fight his brother promises foretells dark tragedy.
