Returning to Dissident for his solo debut, one half of breaks act Magnetic Ghost, is Mariion Christiian. With a rich musical history of his own, Mariion delivers an outstanding 3 track solo EP. While dance-floor-worthy, this is not an EP of club bangers. Instead, Mariion Christiian has crafted an emotional, melodic ride, as well-suited to listening on a melancholic night drive, as it is poolside or in deeper sets. I mean, it's just beautiful stuff. And that's what Mariion Christiian does. From the heart-cry vocals of "Disappear" (a collaboration with Dissident mainstay Seth Vogt), to the distant string crescendos of "Bleu" or the Indie Dance vibes of "A Life Less Ordinary," every track delivers in it's own way.
