Laszlo Montgomery's long-running podcasts on Chinese history have swept the world and gained tens of thousands of fans, including not only listeners eager to learn about Chinese history but also those who want to improve their English. Each book in this series contains transcripts from Laszlo's Podcasts that you can follow along to as you read.

This new volume, the third of three, completes a treasure trove of Chinese Sayings, or Chengyu. For almost a decade Laszlo has presented the history, legends, and stories behind these beloved, delightful, and deeply meaningful Chinese idiomatic expressions, usually only four characters long. In Book 3 of this 3-Part series, Laszlo presents a selection of Chinese Sayings taken from the Golden Age of Chengyu's: The Warring States Period and the Han Dynasty.
