From "Wallace & Gromit" creators Nick Park and Peter Lord comes this marvelous claymation feature set at Tweedy Chicken Farm in 1950s England. When Ginger, a mild-mannered hen, learns that the farm's owners plan to turn all of it's inhabitants into chicken pies, she enlists the help of an American rooster named Rocky to plan a great and dangerous escape to freedom. Mel Gibson, Miranda Richardson, and Julia Sawalha provide the voices in this family film that slyly spoofs WWII prisoner-of-war dramas. 84 min.
