Gatlin, Daniel Harry: - D. H. Gatlin was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. Later, he moved to rural Alabama to raise his daughter as a single father. The making of his book was not only a therapeutic outlet to overcome his own childhood trauma, but also to be positive example to his child.
