Bad things happen. They happen to good people, and they happen without explanation.
Carry the Fire is a modern day rethinking of emergency preparedness... with us, the citizens, at the core.
The reality that "no one is coming to save us" can be seen in nearly any given news cycle. From natural disasters to active shooters, Carry the Fire draws upon decades of experience to clearly define the types of emergencies, how we can manage them, and how to cultivate the skills and inner strength to rise to the occasion.
Done in a way that encourages a normal, active, healthy lifestyle, "Carry the Fire" is a homage to the cultures that came before us and acknowledged that their personal, family, and community safety wasn't a responsibility for some unattached entity, but the cost of admission to live in a civil society. To Carry the Fire was to protect the light and use it as a beacon to others, lighting the way to safety.
We invite you to take the challenge - to live life fully, build skill that makes you a valuable member of your community, and to carry the fire to light the way to safety for others if the worst should happen.
