In 1932, controversy-mired filmmaker Luis Buñuel (voiced by Jorge Usón) was stymied for financing when his friend, radical artist Ramon Acin (Fernando Ramos), hit the lottery and put his winnings toward a documentary about the crushing poverty in Extremadura.
