TALL TALL SHADOW follows Basias 2007 debut album OH, MY DARLING, hailed by eMusic as "an undeniably infectious romp," and 2010s HEART OF MY OWN, which Tiny Mix Tapes declared to be a "heart-wrenching tour de force". Basia has toured in the U.S., Canada, Europe and Australia, sharing the stage with artists including the National, St Vincent, Beirut, Tuneyards, Arcade Fire, Andrew Bird and Nick Cave. She has also collaborated with Owen Pallett, who created orchestral arrangements of a selection of Basias songs that have been performed by the Halifax Symphony Orchestra, Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra and the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony.
