Broadway Limited

Broadway Limited is an American comedy starring Victor McLaglen, Dennis O'Keefe and ZaSu Pitts. The film takes it's name from the Broadway Limited train that the Pennsylvania Railroad used to run between New York and Chicago. Hoping to capitalize on a publicity tour by film star April Tremaine (Marjorie Woodworth) from Chicago to Broadway, producer Ivan Ivanski (Leonid Kinskey) decides April should travel with a baby, and he orders his secretary, Patsy Riley (Patsy Kelly), to locate one. A stranger who overhears Patsy telling the plan to an engineer at the train station offers a baby for $500. But, soon after the group boards a train with the infant, news leaks out about the kidnapping of a wealthy family's baby. This is a delightful film with major actors of the time giving their best performances ever! A great comedy and a good watch! (75 minutes - 1941 - Black & White - 4:3).
