Adopted at birth, Arryn grew up as the son of very powerful half-celestials, Rory and Maeve. Arryn once believed he could be happy and in love, but then tragedy took it all away from him.

Arryn went into seclusion for centuries, lost and alone. He began collecting relics and artifacts around the world in hopes of learning more about who he is and who gave birth to him. Archangel Gabriel was the only connection Arryn had to discover his origins, and the heavenly messenger wasn't about to reveal anything.

Hesitant to step up and run his adoptive parents' business, Arryn returned but only to head up the archeology department. Reluctant to get close to anyone, a young university student happens to draw him in. Will Arryn lose everything again?
