Soon after completing this book, and, ironically, deciding on the final cover design, the author was diagnosed with esophageal adenocarcinoma, which offers little hope for a successful course of treatment. He is content to leave the matter in God's hands, though he intends to fight to stay with the love of his life, his wife, Tetiana.
