Beyond the First 48 recounts the story of Shawn and her son Chris after he was shot during a drive-by shooting on his way home from work one night in Columbia, SC. Shawn shares the pivotal moments of prayer, faith, and fight as police searched for the gunman, and Chris fought for his life in the days, weeks, and months that followed the critical first 48 hours.
