Beyond Inriya Creek - Paperback

Acclaimed writer Trevor Buchanan's creative road has come to a dead end. He is a battered, overweight forty-two-year-old man who hasn't produced a word in six months. He must either find a way out of this mediocre existence or bury the writer in him. Nights of debauchery and substance abuse no more work as his loyal alibis. His only hope rests on a journey to an unmapped, obscure, and mysterious location called Inriya Creek. This location is suggested by his friend and confidante Nitpick, with whom he shares a love for Marijuana, meaningful books, and music. This middle-aged writer's life doesn't necessarily inspire a superhuman quality, but his words paint a picture of jagged strokes and wild colors, troubled childhood, unshielded madness, instability, relentless dark wit, numerous episodes of intoxication, grades of misery, spiritual realizations and designed recklessness. The journey to Inriya Creek is replete with metaphorical realism and dangerous persuasions. The story revolves around multiple timelines from Trevor's life that show us a forgotten mind-numbing reality of how connected we all are. It is a ''MAD MIRAGERY'' of seeing life through the glasses of an everchanging dynamic consciousness. Will this journey shatter old beliefs or form new ones? Will Trevor succeed in writing the book that dragged him out of the comforts of life?
