Between Two Worlds

Looking to chronicle the lives of the working poor, journalist Marianne Winckler (Juliette Binoche) sought employment as a cleaning woman-and, like most of the region's most desperate, ferried across the Channel from Ouistreham to Portsmouth where the jobs were.
