As a career teacher, Chris progressed from Head of Biology to Head of Sixth Form (for twenty years) to Senior Assistant Headteacher in a large, successful comprehensive school. Having taught for 35 years, Chris stepped down from full-time teaching in order to pursue his writing interests.
