24-year-old Tuva Bergenheim is a Swedish drummer, composer, and bandleader from Stockholm who, with her debut album Skargardsjazz (Archipelago Jazz), creates a dreamy and melancholic sound where Swedish jazz meets pop, visa, and Nordic folk music.Unlike other Swedish jazz artists, there are no influences here of traditional vocal jazz or the American standard repertoire.
