Growing up in Kaplan Louisiana I was influence by Cajun music icons such as Iry Lejeune, Lawrence Walker, Nathan Abshire and Aldus Roger. On the Zydeco side of things in my opinion, Boozoo Chavis was the man! Hank Williams Sr., Ray Charles, The Allman Brothers and The Doors also influenced me greatly. After giving it some heavy duty thought I think the common denominator with all of these artist is the passion they put into the body of work they created. I am extremely proud of my Cajun roots and hope through my music it comes shining through! Peace to all and live everyday like it's your last
