Maxine Y. Kershaw is a native South Carolinian and is a licensed Evangelist Missionary for the Church of God in Christ. She is married to Bishop Keith A. Kershaw, pastor and founder of Genesis Church of God in Christ who currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the National church. They have one daughter, Rachel Victoria. Evangelist Kershaw published her first book, "The Year of Release: Daily Manna, A 30-Day Prayer Journal" in April of 2020.
