A criminal enforcer grabs the wrong woman off a Denver street on a Thursday afternoon. She's not the senator's daughter. She has opinions about this.
"The Badger" has been waiting years for his shot at the big leagues. When his crime lord hands him a simple kidnapping job, he's ready. Truck stocked. Duct tape. Zip ties. A burner phone he's never used. The whole thing goes wrong inside five minutes.
Kay Hessington is a substitute teacher and law school dropout with a coffee stain on her dry-clean-only coat and very specific opinions about his kidnapping procedure, his warehouse, and whether his entire intimidation package is actually skill or just good genetics.
She has a long weekend. She is not as scared as she should be.
What follows is a three-book story about a woman who files everything and a man who examines nothing, a contract dispute that requires a highlighter and page seven, a courtroom where the scariest man in Denver has been asked not to crack his knuckles during proceedings, and the slow, precise, completely unplanned process of two people choosing each other.
This volume contains the complete text of Badger: The Grab, Badger: The Contract, and Badger: The Ruling.
Forced proximity. Dual POV. Morally grey hero. Deadpan heroine. Found family of criminals.
A completed trilogy with a happily ever after.
