Schotte, Martin: - Born in 1974 in Ahnatal, Northern Hesse, and now living in Lower Austria, author Martin Schotte worked in renowned restaurants in Germany and England after successfully completing his training as a chef, where he was able to expand and deepen his professional knowledge. After two semesters at the Heidelberg Hotel Management School, he completed his education as a state-certified gastronomy professional and master chef. He then set out into the wider world, working as a head chef in Connecticut, USA, where he met his wife, with whom he now runs a family business in Lower Austria. A profound personal tragedy fundamentally changed his life's path and ultimately led him to become an author. In his private life, he devotes himself above all to his great passion for cooking, as well as to photography and cycling.
